Animals have always been a big part of Laura’s life especially horses and dogs. Laura has ridden from a young age, had weekend jobs caring for horses and always knew she wanted to be a Veterinary Physiotherapist. At home there are currently six horses and a donkey – including three Morgan show horses, an ex- racehorse, her childhood pony Hollie who is now 34 and her part bred and feisty Arab -Will. Also at home are four dogs – two rescued Spanish Galgos from 112 Carlota Galgos, Jack Russell, Mac and miniature Dachshund, Dora.

Being lucky enough to have such a variety of animals at home, Laura has developed particular expertise in equine and canine rehabilitation and maintenance care. She has been able to develop a broad knowledge and experience of exercise prescription especially relating to recovery from laminitis, suspensory surgery, kissing spine, assorted lameness, rehabilitation of ex racehorses and cruciate ligament and IVDD in dogs.
Her MSc thesis on stride length in racehorses and work with a racing yard have also given Laura experience with thoroughbreds.

Laura is compassionate and kind and would love to work with you and your own animals. She is always happy to develop individual plans so please do get in touch to discuss your pets.
